MIQUEL SITJÀ I DOMÈNECH

He lives and works in Manlleu (Osona) and is the head manager of Ecosit Arquitectes.

He works as an architect since 1986 and he gained a sustainable construction Master's degree at the Engineering School La Salle in 1998.

He is long-experienced in sustainable construction projects and since 2000 he takes into account in all projects, including single-family and multi-family buildings, sustainable criteria in the material election and energetic efficiency standards in the design.

As a member of the environment and sustainable commission of the Osona local office of the Catalan Architects Association, he organises, together with other professional associations, technical sessions related to environment and sustainability in construction and urbanism.

Since 2003, he is Sant Bartomeu del Grau's municipal architect and, since 2004, Santa Cecilia de Voltregà's municipal architect.
